Ways to increase wealth and prosperity

There is no human being who does not want to get wealth and prosperity. Everyone’s desire is to have goodness and prosperity in this life and the hereafter. The absence of it creates a miserable life. But is it something that can only be achieved through our knowledge and hard work? The experience is never. It also needs God’s help and support.
When these two, our efforts and God’s help, come together, the graph of prosperity and economic prosperity jumps up. It is not possible to increase wealth by neglecting one and relying only on the other. Caliph Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the sky will not shower you with gold and silver to illustrate the importance of hard work. Wealth does not come from living an ascetic life or meditating. Below are some ways to get Allah’s help:
To increase wealth and prosperity
There are many directions in the Qur’an and scriptures to increase wealth and prosperity. If they are followed in life, prosperity and economic prosperity will be obtained and sustained. The Qur’an reminds us that living a life of piety is the best way to increase wealth in this world and the Hereafter.
To live a life of ‘Taqwa’ is to do what Allah has commanded and to stay away from what He has forbidden. “If a person serves Allah in a pious way, Allah will make a way for him to be freed from his troubles. He will be resourced in unexpected ways. (65:2,3).
Spending in the way of Allah is another way to increase our wealth. The Prophet (PBUH) said: You spend. It will be spent on you too. The Qur’an also teaches that spending in the way of Allah will double it. No one becomes poor by giving. But there are many who have become poor through immorality and extravagance.
The story of the pious merchant is as follows: He used to allocate one-fourth of his trading profit for charity. Because of this, Allah gave him immeasurable blessings. He said to those who sought the secret of wealth increase: Its struggle is to allocate one-fourth of the wealth in the way of God.
Another way to increase wealth is through prayer. Pray to Allah with the exact need in front of you. He will fulfill it. Many prayers have been taught for this purpose in the Qur’an and the Holy Sunnah.
Another way to increase wealth is ‘Istighfar’. Its purpose is to ask for forgiveness. This worship can be done at all times, from lying, sitting, walking. The Qur’an says that if the sweetness of ‘Istighfar’ is always on the tip of the tongue, poverty will disappear and there will be wealth and prosperity.
Another way to increase wealth is to trust in Allah alone. The Qur’an has made it clear that whoever puts his trust in Allah, Allah is sufficient for him. The Prophet (PBUH) said: If you put your trust in Allah as you should, Allah will feed you like birds that go out with a hungry stomach and come back with a full stomach.
During a Hajj, Caliph Umar (RA) saw a number of people begging. He asked: Who are you? Their response: We are those who put our trust in Allah. Umar roared: You have lied. Those who put their trust in Allah are those who sow seeds on the earth and then put their trust in Allah.
Having family ties will help increase wealth. Strengthening family ties is one of the secrets to increasing one’s wealth. Abu Huraira narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever desires a wide livelihood and a long life, let him treat his relatives well”.
Performing the holy Hajj and Umrah regularly is another way to eradicate poverty. The Prophet (PBUH) said that Hajj and Umrah will remove poverty and sins just as fire removes insects from iron.
Along with the above, abstaining from major sins also helps in increasing wealth. Violating the limits set by Allah may incur His wrath and withhold His blessings.
Prosperity, economic prosperity and our efforts are essential. But man often forgets Allah after prosperity. This is a great offense against Allah. Be thankful for the blessings we have received. Spend the blessings He has given according to His purposes.
Giving and not giving wealth is a test from Allah. If we follow his above instructions we will be rewarded in this world and hereafter. This is the promise of Allah. ” How many animals! They do not carry their food. Allah gives them sustenance. He is your breadwinner. He is all-hearing and all-knowing. (29:60)
It is part of Allah’s work to provide resources including food for all living beings. Islam awakens us to the fact that according to His great decision, each one will receive the share that He has calculated, and it is up to a certain limit in this world and there is no need for excessive fear.
